Andrew started his career in 2002 at Wembley Asset Management, an independent mortgage warehouse bank. Just two years later, one of the Wembley partners enlisted Andrew to establish and run a new warehouse lending facility at The Winter Group, a diversified mortgage investment company. Andrew hired Ryan Taylor to oversee day-to-day operations, and together they grew the platform to more than $500 million in outstanding loans in fewer than 18 months.
Andrew left the mortgage business in early 2007 to stop and survey what he believed would be a historic housing market collapse and search for opportunities likely to emerge on the other side. After a short stint as an editor at Minyanville Publishing and Multimedia, Andrew, along with Ryan Taylor and Austin Nelson, formed Cirios Real Estate, a boutique real estate brokerage in San Francisco.ore than $500 million in outstanding loans in fewer than 18 months.
Andrew’s breadth of experience in the financial industry, passion for providing unparalleled customer service and vision for the future of real estate allow him to steer the Cirios ship but also appreciate the finer things that matter to each Cirios client.
Andrew holds degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of California at San Diego, and enjoys running, writing, photography, surfing and the trials and tribulations of being an entrepreneur. Andrew contributes economic analysis focusing on the housing market to Minyanville, a financial news hub. His work has also appeared in the HousingWire, Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal. Andrew is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
